Choices Peer Coach Recovery Trainings pioneer the way in bridging the gap between addiction, abuse and recovery by supporting peer recovery coaches on their journeys forward, providing the foundation required to realize their potential and sustain success in this critical, but challenging field.
Choices Peer Recovery Coach Trainings © are nationally approved peer recovery coach trainings, designed to provide effective knowledge, skills and tools for those seeking to better understand recovery, recovery coaching, faith-based peer coaching, and peer recovery support work. Choices Peer Recovery Coach Trainings provide the foundational skills necessary to begin working in the recovery field.
This PRC training is designed for individuals looking to begin their journey as a peer recovery support specialist or peer recovery coach in the substance use field; or for those who are looking to learn how to better engage with those suffering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
This training provides 30 CEs and is a NAADAC Approved Training.

We are proud of our newly acquired PRC training. The Choices PRC training offers a contrast to our CCAR offerings and provides a different level of information and skills. This Choices PRC training is available in both English and Spanish. Our team will be offering each language at least once per quarter. We will be adding additional trainings available in English and Spanish later this summer.
60 hours of IC & RC Accredited Recovery Coach Trainings are eligible for at least 2 Credentials:
1) Colorado Peer Credential CPFS here
2) NAADAC Peer Credential NCPRSS here
Does not include 500 work or volunteer hours; 25 hours of Supervision; written exam, application fee.
NAADAC Peer Credential- Satisfies the requirement for the NAADAC Credential minus 6 hours of Infectious Disease.
